The beginning of T-Shirts for PEACE was in 2002, when I made the first two designs, Dissent ≠ Treason, and Capitalism ≠ Democracy, for the World Economic Forum in NYC.
My designs were fairly successful (though I still have some of those left). I started teaching friends who needed money how to silk screen and putting them to work on my project. My first screener was a NYC dancer who really needed the work. So it began.
My next design has been my most successful one to date. It says Shalom = Salaam (in the respective languages). I have sold and given these away in NYC and DC and on all of my trips to Israel. It was this shirt/image that a friend first used for some fundraising for a peace NGO in Israel and also first used the term "T-Shirts for PEACE".
This is my first attempt to do the same using the internet. I hope you will support the organizations T-Shirts for PEACE is supporting who are working to reduce some of the suffering on the planet.
